Selecting a Dress
THE DRESS…
TIP: If you are 5’2” and size 14, the dress you pick may not be the same as your girlfriend’s, especially if she is 5’10” and size 2. Make sure the assistant at the bridal shop, or wherever you prefer to buy your dress, is honest with you. It is always wise to bring along a relative or a friend when you are ready to make your choice.
Bring a bridal magazine photograph of someone with your similar facial type, facial coloring and body frame. Depending upon your budget there are thousands of options to choose from. A simple bodice can be very glamorous and you always have magnificent choices for accessories (to veil or not to veil).
If you are fortunate to be able to afford lavish beading on your entire gown, this can also be very, very exquisite. Today, whatever color choices you make will be acceptable because you are the Bride and it is your wedding. The different color shades/hues are extremely wide-ranging. It’s your choice.
You don't have to spend your entire wedding budget on the dress in order to look beautiful on your special day. There are several places in Orlando that carry discount wedding dresses and still go through the traditional process of trying it on and having it professionally fitted.
Just make sure you are extremely happy with your choice, because your happiness will show in your photographs. THE BRIDAL PARTY…
As you meet with your relatives and friends who are to be in your wedding party, consider their suggestions for the type of dresses and color options. Remember, not all dresses will look right on everyone, so try to pick a dress which will make everyone happy. You want to present to the world the most beautiful and dramatic backdrop you can have for your wedding. It can be difficult when you have many individuals in your wedding party.
Have a pre-wedding meeting and
